Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and the individual developer who operates ReviewLoom (“we”, “us”). By installing the extension or using this website, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the extension and stop using the site.

2. What ReviewLoom is

ReviewLoom is a browser extension that reads the product reviews already displayed on Amazon pages you open, applies the filters you choose, and saves the result as a CSV or JSON file on your own device. It includes an optional sign-in that keeps a daily export counter, and an optional paid plan that raises the daily allowance. The service is provided free of charge unless you choose to buy a plan.

We are an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or Google LLC.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the extension for your own or your organisation's internal purposes. You may not:

• resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the extension or a modified copy of it;
• reverse engineer it except to the extent that law expressly permits;
• remove or hide any attribution, licence notice, or plan restriction with the intent to bypass payment;
• use it to build a competing dataset service, or to operate it as a hosted service for third parties.

4. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use the exported data. In particular you agree not to use ReviewLoom to:

• breach Amazon's Conditions of Use, robots directives, or any contract you have with Amazon;
• collect personal data at a scale or in a manner that violates applicable data-protection law (exported reviews can contain reviewer names and other personal data — you are the controller of what you export);
• harass, defame, dox, or build profiles of individual reviewers;
• generate or distribute unlawful content, including AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery;
• overload Amazon or our servers, or attempt to bypass rate limits or the daily allowance;
• break any law that applies to you.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content of the pages you export.

5. Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you sign in, you are responsible for activity under your Google account. We may suspend an account that abuses the service (for example automated mass exports, shared credentials, or attempts to circumvent the allowance). You may stop using the account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for deletion.

6. Plans, payments and refunds

A paid plan raises your daily export allowance for the period stated at checkout. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider; we never receive your card or wallet credentials.

• The plan starts when the payment provider confirms the payment, and its expiry date is shown in the extension.
• If a payment succeeds but the plan is not activated, contact us with the order reference and we will activate it or refund it.
• Except where required by law, fees for a period already used are non-refundable. If the service is unavailable for a sustained period because of our fault, we will extend the plan or refund the unused part.
• Prices may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Amazon changes its pages frequently, and an update to the extension may be required before exporting works again. We may add, change, or remove features; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give existing paid users either a pro-rated refund or continued use for the paid period, at our choice.

8. Intellectual property

The extension, this website, and their code and design belong to us. Review text and other content you export belong to their respective owners; we claim no rights in them. You keep all rights to the files you create.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that exported data is complete or error-free, or that your use of it complies with Amazon's terms or with the law in your jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 20 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may terminate by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service unlawfully. Sections 8, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country of residence continue to apply. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved by email.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the “Effective date” above will change and material changes will be noted in the extension's release notes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
